NAMIQNFEST

I know one thing our family is thankful for is
NAMI Queens/Nassau.

NAMI has brought us a community where our concerns are understood and guidance on improved medical treatments for our loved one are found.

As Executive Director I want to bring this opportunity to more people on Long Island and Queens as knowledge is power.

NAMI Queens/Nassau educates, advocates, and supports both caregivers for and those with a mental health disorder. We have virtual as well as in person support groups. We provide educational programs and presentations in classrooms, board rooms, hospitals and faith communities. We help people find their way through this confusing journey to get the care their loved ones deserve. Thank you for helping our friends, our neighbors, and our loved ones.

On September 29th, we will host a 3k walk, resource fair, expert panel on recovery and treatment for psychosis and mental health housing,
yes recovery is possible.

Sincerely, Liz Hildebrandt, Executive Director, NAMI Queens/Nassau
