invited to submit work. ArtLife717 is the public facing name of the Mental Health Awareness and Creative Arts Gallery and offers a unique gallery
experience. We’ve created an inclusive space where everyone, anywhere on the mental health spectrum, can exhibit their work. We accept work in any medium, with the only stipulation that you desire to grow, thrive, and
expand your artistic life. Please use the online submission forms below to submit work or visit us at the gallery at 717 Columbia Street, Hudson, NY 12534 during gallery hours.

Windows & Doorways
Artists are invited to interpret windows, doors, and thresholds—literal or symbolic—as representations of transition, opportunity, challenge, or hope. This theme welcomes artwork about change, boundaries, openness, and the spaces between where we’ve been and where we’re going.

Creating Calm
This exhibit focuses on the visual and emotional language of calm, grounding, and restoration. Artists are encouraged to share works that evoke stillness, peace, soothing color palettes, ritual, meditation, or personal practices that help maintain balance.

Stories in Color
Color tells stories—and this show invites artists to explore the emotional, personal, or cultural significance of color. Artists may focus on a single color or an entire spectrum. Abstract, representational, and mixed-media works
are all encouraged.

Reclaimed & Reimagined
This exhibit invites works made from recycled, found, or repurposed materials.
The theme centers on reinvention, sustainability, and seeing value where others may not—mirroring the process of renewal in our own lives. Sculpture, collage, assemblage, and experimental media are welcomed.

Gift Show
An art exhibition that is suitable for gifts, such as illustrated cards, crafts, or creative keepsakes. This is a one day show and tabled work that
has not been sold must be taken home at the end of the day.
